RV Escatron; 1978. is a bachelor-at-large, photographer moonlighting as a teacher, hardcore traveler slash nomad and frustrated writer.

He was awarded fellowships in poetry in the Iligan National Writers’ Workshop, University of the Philippines Visayas Creative Writing Workshop and Faigao Annual Writers’ Workshop of Cebu.

He is an erstwhile corporate bloke in Makati and Cebu; taught Language Arts in the Primary Grades at a private school for boys; presently, he is the headmaster for cultural exchange in an alternative school.

He lives in Tagbilaran and Cebu, and Valencia town (at the foot of Mt. Cuernos de Negros) near Dumaguete City.
